FAQ
What are the best videos to grow my business?
That depends on a variety of factors like your type of industry, size of your business currently, your ideal customer, etc. However, we have some ideas to get you started. Click HERE for the Top 5 Videos to Grow Your Business
How much do video services cost?
The price of any video project can greatly vary depending on the scope. For instance a 30 sec video could be an owner speaking directly to camera or a 30 sec ad could be a multimillion dollar Super Bowl commercial that requires a whole bunch of crew, actors, gear, time, etc. In order to get you accurate pricing we need to do a free consultation to really see what you are looking for. We will have upcoming blog article talking about this in more detail soon as well.
What is the deposit/payment structure?
We require a 50% deposit to be paid before any work begins on the project. Then the remaining balance is split between two payments. 25% is invoiced after the first cut(s) are sent. The remaining 25% is invoiced once the revisions are complete. Many times the revisions are not needed or small so the remaining 50% is billed at the same time.
How many revisions do I get?
The standard for us is 2 rounds of revisions, but mostly we spend a ton of time in the preproduction phase planning everything out with you so revisions are hopefully not needed (and many times they aren't). There can be extra revisions made of course for additional costs.
What areas do you service?
We are based in Tucson, AZ, but we service clients in different states across the country. A lot of video work can be done remotely and we are also available and happy to travel if the project requires it.
How long does it take to make a video?
Again this greatly depends on the scope of the project, but the typical timeline from initial meeting to delivery is around 1-2 months. This includes time for preproduction and planning, producing the video content, and then delivery and revisions.
Do you do social media videos?
Absolutely. A lot of videos can be made specifically or repurposed for social media. We can shoot in any aspect ratio and can help structure the video to perform its best depending on where it is going to be delivered.
Who owns the footage? / Can I get the RAW footage?
Sneaky Owl Media will own the rights of all of the footage and can be used for any of our own needs. We can talk through this further if needed and come up with something custom for you as well. We do not release RAW footage typically, but can for additional fees.
How did you get so cool?
It is definitely because everyone we hire and get to work with is so cool. And who doesn't love owls?
What efforts do you put towards sustainable sets?
We strive to eliminate single use products as much as possible on set, use energy efficient gear, and all of our sets are 100% plant based for craft services and catering for environmental and ethical considerations.
Are you able to edit material from other companies?
We can, but it is not really our expertise because our goal is to deliver you custom content that will work and typically it is best if we also shoot the material.
